Liane walked forward. Ignoring the humans for the moment, she went to stand before the dragon. Remembering her mentor's words about the magnificent creatures, she gave a bow, full of respect. Then she turned and eyed the others. The woman who had made the wolf call was given an extra moment or two of study. "I am a traveller. I hope I do not intrude."

"It does not matter I am also a traveler."Renlith thought for a moment and studied her more.

Saleh watched as the second young woman approached Renlith's dragon. He thought about warning her that dragons were very distrustful of humans aside from their riders, but kept his mouth shut and instead allowed himself to feel mildly anxious for the woman's safety as she just walked up to the dragon.
He didn't recall Cormag ever letting someone walk up to his dragon, but perhaps only certain dragons were as distrustful as Genarog. After the silence that followed as the two women studied each other, Saleh spoke.
"You needn't worry about that, you're not intruding at all. I am Saleh of Caer Pelyn, and this is my pupil Ewan. He was showing me an experiment of his a few minutes ago. Do you..."
He stopped after that, wondering if he should ask the newcomer if she was trained in magic, but let it go. Perhaps the added magic of Ewan's flowers was affecting his ability to sense other mages.
"Pay me no mind. What's your name?"

Lianie turned to the one who had introduced himself as Saleh and nodded. "I am Lianie. My friends are Night Howl and Night Wing. We are world travellers, I suppose you could call us." She turned and nodded to the one called Ewan. "What is this experiment you have done, young one?"

Ewan nodded, as Saleh introduces him. "Yup! Saleh is my teacher! He's a good one too! I've learned a whole lot from him." Ewan studied his instructor's face, searching for some emotion.
He snapped out of his examination as Lianie asked him about his magic tricks. "Oh! You see these flowers?" The young mage beamed. "I made them spring out of the ground! Aren't they pretty? Here..." Ewan plucked a few single blossoms from the ground of varying colors. "You can have them!"

Liane stared at the flowers given to her so innocently by the small child and felt a warmth spring in her heart. With a small but very real smile, she gave the young studier of magic a deep curtsey then accepted the gist. "I thank you for this kindness, young Ewan. It is most considerate of you. I have a gift in return for you. Observe." She held out a small, pale, empty hand, then closed it and her eyes and murmured something too indistinct to hear. When she opened her eyes and her hand, a small stone blazed like the sun before dimming. She held it out to Ewan. "Take this. It is a Sun Stone."

Ewan gasped in awe and surprise, as Liane revealed the beautiful stone. "Wow! You know magic too, don't you?" He gently took the sun stone into his hand, as if a single touch would break it. "Thank you!" The young boy was amused at the glowing rock, burning like a raging fire, but yet dim and dangerously beautiful.

Liane nodded and smiled, pleased that the boy appreciated the gift. "Yes, I am a magic user. I am a studier of the dark arts and the mysteries that are held within. That is one of the reasons that I travel the world. I wish to learn all that I can and I have found that there is only so much I can learn and discover in books and classrooms. That is what led me here. There is something calling me. I do not know what. Some force or power. It is very strong and yet very faint. Have any of you felt this whatever it is? The shamaness wondered if these strangers had heard the call and if they would tell her if they had. Hers was a very untrusting nature.

Saleh became a bit interested when Liane asked if anyone else had felt the magic in Za'ha. He doubted that Ewan had felt it, still learning about light magic and staves, but perhaps this was connected to something if a traveler such as Liane could sense it. The sage had felt the odd force for at least a week, and he was now sure that Renlith's power was just the standard magical potential--she obviously hadn't been here before today.
"Hmm... now that I remember, I have felt magic from Za'ha. I've sensed it on and off for a week, and when Renlith came I thought it was her at first... But I've never seen her before, and since even a traveler like you could feel it where you were, it's logical to assume it's something else."

Liane listened to the sage carefully then nodded. "Yes, that makes sense. But then where could this sensation I guess we can call it, coming from? It has pulled me here across many miles and many weeks of travel. I do not understand it and that is an uncomfortable feeling for me. Whatever this source is, it must have serious strength to reach so far."
