Renlith entered the large clearing with her dragon near by. She picked up a small piece of wood and studied it put it back down and sprinted further down an unknown direction.
She stopped and studied the bush and quickly ran off to the left and pursued the object further. She quickly came across the whole of the were-cat.
Slowly cast a spell the were-cat came out and sat before her.
"Mistress why must we sit and wait."
"Patience Relquore you're forgetting what I told you earlier about were-cats even under a spell."
"Yes M'lady but please hurry this place disturbs me."
She slowly brought out a small dagger and cut a nail from it's paw and stroked his head and grew it back with her magic. Finally he will stop disturbing passer byers. She left and mounted her dragon and he pushed off into the sky leaving the forest far behind.

Saleh, upon reaching the forest's edge, was unpleasantly surprised to be nearly flattened by a dragon taking off. Instantly he reached for his thunder tome and began an incantation, but let it go as he saw the dragon was flying too high up for his magic to reach it.
He also had a strange little sense in the back of his mind that another mage was nearby, but the only person in sight was the wyvern rider. How could a Wyvern Rider know magic? Either he was mistaken or dragons had gotten considerably tougher since the War of the Stones.
"I never thought a Wyvern Rider would use magic."
With that thought he walked cautiously into the forest, intending to drive away any monsters that still lingered in the forest. However, after looking around to make sure no one was hiding behind something, he made another statement.
"But perhaps it is just my imagination."

She hadnt ment to almost flatten the stranger. The dragon landed back on the ground and she got off and approached the person. She walked up to him. "Dont ever try to curse my dragon again!"

Saleh merely blinked at the girl's sudden landing--he was far enough not to be bodily threatened now--but started as the girl angrily told him to never curse her dragon again. Curse her dragon? he wondered. Her wording was a bit odd, but he let it go in favor of an apology.
"I apologize, Miss, I was merely acting in self-defense. I had no intention of truly harming your dragon, and I did stop the incantation when he flew too high to be hit."
He waited for her response, then asked the question that had been on his mind since the girl had landed.
"You haven't seen any mages here, have you? I believe I felt someone using magic nearby."

"Pleased to meet you, Renlith. I am Saleh of Caer Pelyn."
Strange, the odd feeling of magic had only intensified as Renlith came over. It was not weak magic, nor was it overly strong; it was merely untrained. Saleh was prepared to train another student, but she was almost too old to be easily trained. The longer one went without training, the more one should simply leave magic alone; potential or not, without a grasp on one's magic you might as well learn the usual tricks of light and entertain at inns, or take up weapons instead.
It surprised him when Renlith said that she could have been a mage. So she knew that she had magic--but why leave it alone so long? There were many people who aspired to be mages, and normally someone would seize the chance to train with a mage.
"You could have been a mage? Have you had any training, then?"

Ewan rushed up to he teacher from the undergrowth. "Teacher! Guess what I was doing?" His innocent eyes searched Saleh for any form of emotion, but quickly pointed to a small bouquet of flowers in his hand. The young sage, who had been wandering the woods all day, smiled sincerely.
"I thought that the woods were dark and damp and needed some cheering up!"
The red head held the flowers up for Saleh to examine. "Here! These are for you! I know that you told me not to use magic recklessly, but I experimented with a good purpose! See? These flowers are now all over Za'ha woods and might even make the monsters more pleasant! What do you think?" Ewan grinned. His eyes sparkled as he glanced at Renlith.
"Hi! I'm Ewan! Who are you?"

Ewan looked from Renlith to Saleh and grinned. "Yep! That's my teacher all right!" He looked at the young ranger. "Where do you come from, anyway? I've never seen you around here before. Do you live in Renais? Or somewhere else?"
Without waiting for an answer, the talkative magic user turned to Saleh. "So teacher! Do you think that my magic is worthwhile? It's sure pretty, isn't it?" Ewan was glad to have met someone new. Being the social bee that he is, he always loved the feeling of making friends. But the sage also enjoyed talking with his old ones, especially his beloved teacher, Saleh.

OOC: *squeal* I'm a beloved teacher! Your post just made my day, Ewan.
Saleh fought the urge to either smile at his pupil's antics or frown--slightly--at the unneeded use of magic. He opted for the former, deciding that Ewan was to be congratulated; the project had been a success, even if the magic wasn't really needed in Za'ha.
"You did a good job, Ewan; growing things with magic may be useful if it's done carefully. I doubt they could make the monsters less unpleasant, but you may have a good idea."
He took a closer look at the bunch of flowers that Ewan was holding.
"Are those flowers the ones that grow in Caer Pelyn? They look exactly like them."

((Bah... Saleh's the best! *huggles Saleh plushie*))
Ewan grinned again. "Yup! Aren't they pretty? I tried to make the flowers just like the ones up in Caer Pelyn, since they're so rare!" The ruby red and butter yellow shades seemed to glow in the dim lighting.
He looked back at Renlith. "So... Where else have you lived? Maybe you've met some of my friends, since they come from all over the place!"

Liane walked carefully through the Za'ha Woods. Her wolf stalked quietly beside her, his nose twitching while her eagle soared ahead, scounting the terrain. Moments later, he returned. The shamaness raised her arm and the large raptor landed, careful of his sharp claws on his mistress's tender skin. Woman and bird stared at each other, unblinking, for a few minutes, before she spoke. "I see. A man, a woman, and a child. And the woman rides a dragon, does she? Hmm. Perhaps we should investigate. What do you think, Night Howl?" The giant sized black wolf gave a soft growl. She laughed and patted his head. "Night Wing, what about you? Do you think we should show ourselves?" The black eagle thingyed his head and blinked at the small woman. "So be it. Let us go say hello, shall we." The black robed woman and her two pets made their way to where the small group stood. Before she became visible, Liane carefully studied the three people. The child was talking non stop. The man seemed aloof but unable to resist the child's bright chatter. The woman was definitely being charmed against her will. Nodding to herself, Liane stepped into view, wolf beside her and eagle perched on her shoulder. "Grettings, strangers."

Eying the women and her animals. Letting out a soft wolf call. Making the animals ears perk up. Calling silently her dragon. Relquore walks over. What mistress? Oh nothing I just prefer it when youre around. Very well then. Renlith stroked his long face. Paying attention to the others.
